Yamuna is a secular organization founded by a group of people who shared the concern of a fairer and better world. Despite being aware that our knowledge on the ground was limited, we knew that working hard together towards a same goal, we were goingto be able to make a change.

At first we thought that by helping even just a little, the investment would be worth while. Today we realize that we are turning around the lives of many people and that number continues to grow.

Yamuna was founded in the year 2000 as a non-governmental development organization (NGO). The organization is registered in the Registry of Associations of the General Directorate of Law and Legal Entities no. 24168, 1st section. Registry of Barcelona with NIF G-62352042 and the Register of Private Foundations of the Generalitat of Catalonia no. 2260 NIF:G64261209.
